Egill Jacobsen

EGILL JACOBSEN (1910–1998) was a Danish artist known for his abstract and surrealist paintings. He was a prominent figure in Danish modern art and a member of the CoBrA movement, which emphasized spontaneity and experimentation in art. Jacobsen’s work often featured vibrant colors, biomorphic shapes, and imaginative compositions, reflecting his interest in the subconscious and the primal.
