Michael Bloch

Details

With the sculptural MB70 stool, Michael Bloch clearly demonstrates his passion and interest for both technical design and craftsmanship. In the late 1960s Bloch became inspired by the new production methods and the combination of metal and wood. And like his professor Grete Jalk, Bloch was inspired by the technical complexity of designing functional and sculptural furniture by experimenting with form and molded plywood.

The MB70 stool stands elegant, holding the wooden oak legs together with chromed metal rods.
